- This 72-acre park provides a beautifully-landscaped retreat. The facilities include: a rose garden accredited by the All America Rose Selections organization, outdoor swimming pool, playground equipment, a bandstand, picnic areas (8 shelters), tennis courts (8), horseshoe courts, sand volleyball, an ice skating pond in the winter, lighted softball and football areas, paved hiking/biking path, an historic plaque identifying the location of Indian burial mounds, and a panoramic view of the Mississippi River.
