Twenty-Sixth Iowa Infantry

Of 919 men and officers, 44 were killed, 244 died, 147 were discharged, 165 were wounded, 27 were captured and 70 were transferred.

Mustered in at Clinton in August, 1862. Mustered out at Washington, D.C., June 6, 1865.
