I am trying to find living descendants of Maj. Gen. William Vandever,
Lt. Col. Fracis Heron, or Maj. William Coyle. I have an original
signed (by Vandever) photo of these three men that was given to my
ancestor, Captain James William Towner of the Iowa 9th Volunteer
Infantry.
