THE MASTER PLAN
The Master Plan for the Arboretum and Botanic Gardens was developed by a cross section of citizens from Cedar Valley in conjunction with a design firm. It will guide site growth and development for the next ten years.
The Arboretum purpose is diverse:

Various plants will be propagated and saved for future generations

Horticulture genetic research
|
|
Students from local elementeary, middle and high schools along with students from local colleges will have the opportunity to work on various projects and to establish contact with the natural world and to stimulate a lifelong interest and love of Horticulture, gardening and will for the first time for many be exposed to agronomy science.

Usuage by Area garden clubs
|
|
Family orientated and children's activities will be presented by the staff.

Weddings, receptions
|
|
Seminars, Business meetings
|
|
Walkers seeking low-impact fitness workouts in an environment of peace and tranquility |
